Through documents gathered by the Daily Journal / Daily Messenger, the woman who accused Clemson defensive back DeAndre McDaniel last week of assault and battery of a high and aggravated nature has been identified as Ms. Abra Weeks.

With the exception of two athletes – Jarrett Crittendon and Xavier Brewer – just about all of Clemson’s talented 2008 football signing class is on campus to take part in voluntary summer workouts and of course the second session of summer school, which begins Wednesday.

CLEMSON — Kyle Parker was named a first-team freshman All-American by Baseball America on Monday. Parker, listed as the first-team designated hitter, joined Miami lefthander Chris Hernandez as the only two ACC players to make the first team.
