Daniel tennis rolls past Warriors

WESTMINSTER — The Daniel High School girls’ tennis team didn’t lose a single set in defeating West-Oak on Tuesday in Westminster.

Chris Corontzes, Lara McLellan, Tanner Lake, Griffin Glaze and Elizabeth Hawthorne each won their singles matches in straight sets for the Lions, while Sarah Barfield and Allison Osef teamed up for a doubles win. The final point of the contest for Daniel came on a forfeit at the No. 1 doubles spot.

Daniel (3-3, 3-1 Western AAA) returns to the courts on Thursday, hosting Greenville at Nettles Park in Clemson.
